Position Overview We are offering a unique opportunity for a skilled Clinical Registered Dietitian to join our team on a full-time remote basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert nutritional services to patients in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities: Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments of patients, including reviewing medical histories, laboratory results, and current dietary intake. Nutritional Planning: Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to meet the unique needs of patients, taking into account their medical conditions, dietary restrictions, and personal preferences. Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other dietitians, to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes. Education and Counseling: Provide patients and their families with education and counseling on proper nutrition, meal planning, and lifestyle modifications to promote healthy eating habits and disease management. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to Department of Health, state, and federal regulations, as well as company standards, in all aspects of practice. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient assessments, nutrition plans, and progress notes in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Registration: Current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). Education: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in clinical dietetics, preferably in a healthcare setting. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Degree: Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field. Specialized Certifications: Additional certifications, such as Certified Diabetes Care and Education (CDCES) or Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC), are highly desirable. Experience with Electronic Health Records: Familiarity with electronic health record systems and other healthcare software applications.
