About the Role
In this exciting and challenging role, you will be responsible for performing licensee compliance audits for all Disney lines of businesses (merchandise and publishing) throughout Europe. You will work autonomously on-site at licensees' workplaces, utilizing your expertise in systems and data flows, as well as product creation methods, to conduct agreement compliance audits. Your exceptional analytical and reporting skills will be essential in producing comprehensive reports and tests on royalties completeness.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct on-site compliance audits at licensees' workplaces across Europe to ensure adherence to Disney's standards and agreements
Collaborate with the audit planner to prepare audit files, collate financial records, contracts, and other relevant data from various systems and teams within Disney
Produce detailed reports and tests on royalties completeness, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations for enhanced compliance
Work closely with external audit companies to conclude audits performed on Disney's behalf, ensuring seamless communication and effective issue resolution
Collaborate with audit teams in other regions as required, sharing best practices and expertise to drive continuous improvement


Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in auditing, preferably in a large public accounting firm or retail analytics, with experience in internal audit or a similar field. Your expertise in complex internal controls, accounting structures, and approaches will be essential in navigating the complexities of our licensing agreements.

Required Qualifications:

Experience in a large public accounting firm or retail analytics, with internal audit or similar work experience in consumer products or media
Fluent English language skills, with excellent writing and communication abilities
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and present findings effectively
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and confidence with internal stakeholders and external licensees
Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and organization, to manage your workload efficiently and effectively


Preferred Qualifications:

ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification, demonstrating your expertise in accounting and auditing principles
Fluency in another European language (German, Spanish, Italian, French, or Polish), enabling you to communicate effectively with our diverse range of licensing partners
Experience working in a multinational company, with a deep understanding of the complexities of international business and cultural nuances
