Job Summary
In this role, you will leverage your skills and experience to perform a wide range of repairs, from cab and sheet metal repair to welding and fabricating, suspension repair, and surface preparation. Key Responsibilities
Perform truck collision repair and maintenance services, including:
Cab and sheet metal repair
Welding and fabricating
Suspension repair and alignment
Surface preparation
Identify necessary parts for repair and document warrantable repairs on repair orders
Maintain a safe and organized work area, adhering to safety and maintenance policies
Perform road tests on vehicles when necessary and complete duties efficiently with minimal supervision
Other tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
3-6 years of practical experience in truck and trailer repair or an equivalent combination of related education and experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical school preferred
Proficiency in using welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools
Valid driver’s license and basic computer skills required
Ability to adhere to specific instructions, guidelines, and safety regulations
Willingness to travel as necessary and complete background checks and drug screenings
