As a remote-based professional with occasional onsite visits to Washington DC, you will play a critical role in delivering top-notch support to our high-profile clients, including prompt resolution of hardware, software, and network issues. Key Responsibilities
As an Apple Support Professional, your primary responsibilities will include:

Prompt response and resolution of IT issues, including hardware, software, and network-related problems, to ensure minimal downtime and maximum productivity for our clients.
Proactive monitoring and maintenance of executive-level IT equipment and systems to prevent issues and ensure optimal performance.
Support for Mac-based systems, with in-depth knowledge of MacOS, iOS, mobile device support, and technologies, to provide comprehensive solutions to our clients.
Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of software applications, including Microsoft 365, ServiceNow, and Oracle, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Assistance with Active Directory services, user account management, and access permissions to ensure secure and efficient access to resources.
Collaboration with other NIH IT teams to ensure seamless integration and resolution of complex issues, leveraging your expertise and knowledge to drive success.
Basic knowledge of BigFix or Jamf to support the management and maintenance of Apple devices.
On-call support during non-business hours, including weekends and holidays, with immediate response times to ensure our clients receive the support they need, whenever they need it.


Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Mac deskside support for Federal agency or similar research organization in academia with a scientific-focused mission.
Demonstrated expertise and applied experience with senior-level knowledge and experience in supporting VVIPs and executives.
Relevant IT certifications, such as Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, and ITIL Foundation.
In-depth knowledge and expertise in ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Oracle.
A relevant degree in IT or Computer Science, with a preference for advanced degrees.
Apple-certified, with a strong understanding of Apple products and technologies.

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

Advanced degrees in IT or Computer Science.
Additional IT certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, and ITIL Foundation.
