Job Summary As a Ramp Agent (Customer Service Agent) at Delta Airlines, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of cargo, baggage, and mail, while providing exceptional customer service. This is a physically demanding role that requires lifting, bending, standing, and walking, as well as working in varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities Securely lift, load, unload, and transport cargo, mail, and baggage to and from aircraft, ensuring timely connections and handling. Protect cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather-related issues. Operate ground equipment, such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors, in congested areas. Utilize computerized systems and scanners to ensure accurate tracking and routing of cargo and baggage. Work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with a commitment of 20-40 hours per week. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Proficiency in English. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hearing protection, safety toe footwear, and high-visibility safety clothing. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service, logistics, or a related field. Familiarity with airline operations, cargo handling, or ground equipment.
