About the Role We're seeking an experienced Provider Customer Service Call and Chat Representative to support our providers and members. As a full-time representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to healthcare professionals, answering questions, and resolving issues related to benefits, eligibility, billing, clinical authorizations, and more. Key Responsibilities Serve as an advocate for providers, demonstrating accountability and ownership to resolve issues and provide excellent service. Interact with providers through multiple channels, including phone calls and concurrent chats, to address their concerns and questions. Quickly and accurately triage contacts from healthcare professionals, including physician offices, clinics, and billing offices. Seek to understand and identify the needs of providers, answering questions and resolving issues related to benefits and eligibility, billing and payments, clinical authorizations, explanation of benefits, and behavioral health. Research and analyze complex prior authorization and claim issues, taking appropriate steps to resolve identified issues and prevent repeat calls or escalations. Collaborate effectively with internal partners to ensure issues are resolved and thoroughly communicated to providers in a timely manner. Develop strong multitasking skills to navigate multiple systems, extract necessary information, and resolve issues efficiently. Influence providers to utilize self-service digital tools, assisting with navigation questions, and promoting the benefits of these tools. Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Must be 18 years of age or older. 1+ year of customer service experience with analyzing and solving customer concerns. Experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications. Ability to type at a speed of 35-40+ WPM with an accuracy of 90%. Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week) with flexibility to work any 8-hour shift between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM CST, Monday-Friday. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a related environment (i.e., office, call center, customer service). Prior healthcare experience and knowledge of healthcare terminology. Telecommuting Requirements Reside within the state of Tennessee. Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure. Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. Must live in a location that can receive a high-speed internet connection. Soft Skills Ability to multitask, including typing in multiple conversations.
