About the Position The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the after-school program at William Henry Campus and Booker T. Washington Elementary Schools, with a focus on building and maintaining partnerships, managing resources, and leading staff to meet the expectations of the After School Grants. This role requires a strong and diverse skill set, including experience in 21st Century Programming, tutoring or teaching elementary school students, and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and community partners. The ideal candidate will be a certified applicant with a Bachelor of Arts degree and previous experience in leading successful programming. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the after-school program at William Henry Campus and Booker T. Washington Elementary Schools, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and district policies. Build and maintain partnerships with local organizations, businesses, and community groups to support program goals and objectives. Manage program resources, including budgeting, staffing, and facilities, to ensure efficient and effective operations. Lead and supervise program staff, including training, coaching, and evaluating performance to ensure high-quality programming. Develop and implement program activities, events, and services that promote academic success, personal growth, and social development. Collect and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes. Communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and community partners to promote program goals and objectives. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and district policies, including those related to safety, health, and wellness. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following essential qualifications: Bachelor of Arts degree in a relevant field, such as education, social work, or a related field. Previous experience in 21st Century Programming, tutoring or teaching elementary school students, or a related field. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, staff, and community partners. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications are highly desirable: Certification in a relevant field, such as teaching or counseling. Experience working with diverse populations, including students with special needs. Knowledge of grant writing and management, with experience in securing funding for programs and services. Experience with program evaluation and data analysis, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making. Strong technology skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications.
