Job Overview We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Time LPN to join our patient care team. As a Full-Time LPN, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care, administering medications, and assisting in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Primary Responsibilities Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking patient histories and vital signs Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments, following policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals, providing exceptional support and care to our patients Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including files, records, and other relevant information Use nursing theory to guide patient care, ensuring that each patient receives the highest standard of care Perform selected nursing and administrative duties, including preparing exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments Give injections and apply splints and dressings, as required, to provide comprehensive care to our patients Maintain strict patient confidentiality, adhering to our organization's policies and procedures Attend staff meetings as required, contributing to our team's collaborative and dynamic work environment Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating your flexibility and commitment to our team's success Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing school, with a strong foundation in nursing theory and practice Current Oregon LPN license, with a commitment to maintaining your professional development and licensure Healthcare provider level BLS/CPR certification, or the ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment 1+ years of professional nursing experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care Preferred qualifications include: Experience with an electronic medical record system, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and systems Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams Compassion and empathy, with a commitment to delivering patient-centered care Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on prioritization, organization, and time management Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments and decisions Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to our organization's policies and procedures Career Growth and Development At our organization, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our team members.
