Job Summary As a Customer Support Representative with blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers, clients, and stakeholders seeking assistance with Medicare, medical, or healthcare-related inquiries. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, and your goal will be to address questions, resolve issues, and guide individuals through complex healthcare processes. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat regarding Medicare benefits, medical services, and healthcare plans. Provide accurate information about coverage options, benefits, eligibility, and claims processes. Assist customers in understanding and navigating the healthcare system, including Medicare enrollment, renewals, and appeals. Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently, ensuring a high level of satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of interactions, transactions, and follow-ups using our CRM systems. Collaborate with internal teams, such as billing, care management, and insurance departments, to resolve customer concerns and provide seamless service. Stay up-to-date with changes in healthcare regulations, Medicare policies, and company procedures to offer accurate guidance. Educate customers on preventive care services, wellness programs, and additional resources available to them. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance knowledge and skills related to healthcare and customer service. Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in customer support, particularly in the healthcare or insurance industry, is highly desirable. Strong understanding of Medicare, medical insurance, and healthcare processes is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism. Proficiency in using customer support software and CRM systems. Empathy, patience, and a customer-focused attitude. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Medical or Medicaid is a valuable asset and preferred but not required.
