Role Overview As a Web Designer & Digital Marketing Specialist at Tech In A Tux, you'll play a critical role in designing and developing websites on platforms like WordPress, Shopify, and PrestaShop. You'll also be responsible for executing digital marketing strategies, including SEO and social media campaigns, to drive organic traffic and boost online presence. Your expertise will help us deliver scalable, responsive, and fast solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Key Responsibilities Website Design & Development: Build and maintain websites using platforms like WordPress, Shopify, and PrestaShop. Manage custom web development projects with scalable, responsive, and fast solutions. Ensure all websites are SEO-friendly and optimized for performance and speed. Implement best practices for mobile responsiveness and user experience (UX/UI). Provide fast and reliable hosting solutions for websites. SEO & Digital Marketing: Develop and execute SEO strategies (on-page and off-page optimization, backlinking, content updates, meta tags, etc.). Manage social media marketing (SMM) campaigns on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. Optimize content for local SEO and manage tools like Google My Business and Google Search Console. Implement email marketing strategies, including lead nurturing campaigns to convert potential clients. Track and improve organic traffic through SEO and social media, constantly refining strategies for better ROI. Hosting Solutions: Provide fast, reliable, and affordable hosting options with consistent uptime and website monitoring. Project Management & Collaboration: Collaborate with the internal Tech In A Tux team to align with both company and client goals. Stay updated on the latest trends in web design, SEO, and digital marketing to ensure the best results for our clients. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Proven Experience: A portfolio showcasing previous web development and digital marketing projects. Technical Skills: Expertise in WordPress, Shopify, and PrestaShop development. Proficiency in SEO, including technical and content optimization. Experience with social media marketing across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn). Strong frontend development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). Soft Skills: Excellent communication, project management, and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Client-first mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional results. Preferred Qualifications We'd love to see: Familiarity with Google tools like Analytics and Search Console for tracking performance. Experience with Webflow and HubSpot.
