We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team and help us achieve our goals. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team and lead the strategic sourcing of Professional Services for blithequark. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building relationships with key executives, advising on market engagement, leading deal negotiations, and assisting to optimize cross-functional vendor relationships. You will work on a wide range of projects that will keep your job exciting, exposing you to many service-providing industries, including consulting and advisory, financial, tax, audit, data subscriptions, translations, temporary workers, managed services, etc. **Responsibilities** As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Participating and leading cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders * Evaluating providers and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria * Developing and leading RFI/RFP process for professional services according to blithequark policies and procedures * Analyzing bids based on overall cost/delivery to identify opportunities to obtain the best value * Preparing and executing clear, data-driven negotiation techniques using Strategic Sourcing methodology * Preparing and executing contracts, as well as performing post-award administration * Understanding and assisting in the development and execution of performance control applications with providers that focus on quality, responsiveness, and cost * Ensuring compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices * Communicating and documenting to management the reputation of any significant external relationships that may impact planning and decision-making * Analyzing market trends and conditions that affect internal stakeholders and external providers and/or pricing * Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with current industry best practices * Demonstrating exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances * Showing expertise with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements **Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need: * 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience with a minimum of 2 years of professional services class sourcing * Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels * Strong strategic agility * Strong analytical skills * Excellent written and oral communication skills * Strong negotiation skills * Ability to collaborate in a team environment * Internal client awareness * Ability/choice to work in various environments * Ability to handle ambiguity * Knowledge of: + Sourcing & Procurement processes + Basic legal terms & conditions + Entertainment industry trends and conditions + Proven expertise with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements + Established experience working with the legal department on subjects regarding boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with and/or for companies that offer consulting and advisory services * Professional Services Sourcing history is a plus * Consulting/Advisory history is a plus **Required Education** * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field **What We Offer** At blithequark, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, competitive compensation, and opportunities for career growth and development.
