We're excited to introduce you to our Security Posture Insights & Management (SPOT) team, a critical component of our security infrastructure. The SPOT team is responsible for developing and maintaining the products, systems, and data that enable us to accurately assess and represent our security posture. As a Full Stack Software Engineer (L5) on the SPOT team, you'll play a key role in driving product development, crafting effective user experiences, and promoting engineering excellence across the stack.

About the Role

As a Full Stack Software Engineer on the SPOT team, you'll be responsible for working on products that deliver security posture context to various internal customers and stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on effectively surfacing security posture to drive down risk, and you'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services that support the front-end.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:


Designing and developing full-stack solutions, with a focus on crafting effective user interfaces and promoting engineering excellence across the stack
Working on products that deliver security posture context to internal customers and stakeholders, with an emphasis on driving down risk
Mentoring junior engineers and promoting a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing
Prototyping and testing new product ideas, and iterating on feedback to drive continuous improvement
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including fellow engineers, product managers, security experts, and internal customers


Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to have a strong foundation in full-stack software engineering, with a focus on JavaScript/TypeScript (Node/React) and a bonus for Python experience. Some of the essential qualifications for this role include:


Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (Node/React), with a deep understanding of front-end development principles and best practices
Full-stack development skills, with a history of shaping end-to-end solutions and a focus on crafting effective user interfaces
Experience extending and leveraging GraphQL APIs, with a strong understanding of API design principles and best practices
Familiarity with overall system design and architecture, and a commitment to progressively improving software

Compensation and Benefits
