Key Responsibilities

As a software engineer on the Home Depot team with Workwarp, you will play a critical role in the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software applications that delight customers and partners. Your key responsibilities will include:


60% Delivery and Execution: Develop, test, deploy, and maintain software applications; follow best practices and participate in continuous improvement discussions; collaborate with the team to achieve results, even in challenging situations.
20% Learning and Development: Learn through successful and failed experiments while tackling new challenges; actively seek opportunities for growth and development through formal and informal channels.
20% Planning and Collaboration: Build relationships and work collaboratively with others to achieve shared goals; work with cross-functional teams in agile cycles; communicate transparently and effectively with diverse stakeholders.


Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in software engineering principles and practices. The essential qualifications for this position include:


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks
Familiarity with source code version control systems


In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred capabilities will be considered a plus:
