Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced full stack software engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team, where you will be responsible for architecting and implementing adaptable cloud-native solutions with a focus on container technologies. Key Responsibilities


Design and implement scalable cloud-native solutions using container technologies, such as Kubernetes.
Develop and maintain infrastructure platforms and tools that enable engineering teams to build and deploy applications efficiently.
Set the standard for infrastructure code organization and design, with a focus on extensibility and future growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure development with business requirements and priorities.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and help grow the skills of the team.
Develop and maintain high-quality documentation, with a focus on clarity and concision.
Participate in the development of architectural solutions and proposals.


Essential Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 3+ years of experience in container orchestration, with a focus on Kubernetes.
Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.
Experience with cloud-native technologies, including AWS or other cloud platforms.
Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience with Linux, networking, and protocols.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.


Preferred Qualifications


Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
At least 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering and infrastructure development.
Experience with Disney's technology stack and architecture.
Certifications in cloud-native technologies, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
