Job Opportunities at Blithequark We're currently seeking detail-oriented individuals with a passion for entertainment and a keen eye for detail to join our remote team as Content Taggers and Data Entry Specialists. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate and comprehensive metadata for our vast library of content, ultimately enhancing the viewer experience on the Blithequark platform. We're also looking for experienced Software Engineers to join our team, responsible for building and maintaining our Open Connect platform. As a Software Engineer at Blithequark, you will have the opportunity to work on cloud microservices, systems for live streaming, services for cloud gaming, and load-balancing algorithms for optimizing hardware utilization. Key Responsibilities Content Taggers and Data Entry Specialists: Review and tag content with accurate and relevant metadata Enter data into our systems to ensure comprehensive and up-to-date information Collaborate with other teams to ensure consistency and quality of metadata Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content tagging and data entry Software Engineers: Design, develop, and maintain cloud microservices for video delivery Build and optimize systems for live streaming and cloud gaming Develop and implement load-balancing algorithms for optimizing hardware utilization Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our technology stack Essential Qualifications Software Engineers: 3+ years of experience in software development or a related field with a modern programming language Experience in a microservice environment Strong understanding of cloud computing, distributed systems, and scalability Proficiency in languages such as Java, Python, or C++ Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems Content Taggers and Data Entry Specialists: 2+ years of experience in data entry or a related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Excellent communication and collaboration skills Familiarity with metadata standards and best practices Preferred Qualifications Software Engineers: Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or GCP Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes Experience with machine learning or artificial intelligence Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools Content Taggers and Data Entry Specialists: Experience with data management tools and platforms Familiarity with metadata standards and best practices Knowledge of entertainment industry trends and best practices Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their skills.
