Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using various programming languages, including Python, Java, and Scala. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop solutions to meet business needs. Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software delivery. Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines for batch and real-time data processing using tools like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Design and implement data warehousing solutions, and work with data scientists to develop machine learning models. Lead and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on big data, data engineering, and analytics. Strong programming skills in languages like Python, Java, or Scala. Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modeling. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with cloud platforms like GCP or AWS. Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization using Docker. Experience with NoSQL databases like HBase, Couchbase, or MongoDB. Familiarity with GitHub or Bitbucket, and experience with CI/CD pipelines. Experience with data science and machine learning technologies.
