As a Senior Analyst in the Air Terminal Client Services (ACS) Resource Planning group, you will be responsible for analyzing key operational and staffing metrics to support functional and financial performance.

About the Role

We are seeking intellectual leaders who enjoy insightful discussions about how systems, business process improvement, and analysis influence how Delta reliably serves its clients. As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for developing predictive models and forecasts to proactively deliver required ACS staffing needs, collaborating with cross-functional ACS divisions. You will also analyze resource utilization, identify more efficient solutions, and report on the execution of resource planning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:


Develop predictive models and forecasts to proactively deliver required ACS staffing needs, collaborating with cross-functional ACS divisions
Analyze resource utilization and identify more efficient solutions
Report on the execution of resource planning initiatives
Examine the latest trends in ACS resource planning
Find and concentrate data from various sources for use in analysis, models, and project development
Find and develop new data sources and fundamental analytical models and tools
Utilize descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytical techniques to highlight business challenges, potential solutions, and important tradeoffs
Develop new essential analytical models or modify existing ones
Transform data into meaningful insights using data visualization and analytical storytelling techniques
Develop complex reports and analyses with direction from leaders
Support complex process improvement and project management commitment for both individual specialty units and cross-divisional initiatives
Present findings to OAP and specialty unit leaders, including senior executives
Act as an internal consultant to partners and provide insights to drive results
Consistently prioritize the safety and security of self, others, and personal data

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
Experience with analytical tools, such as SQL, Python, and Tableau required
Strong business acumen, statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex processes with cross-functional teams
Excellent written, presentation, and verbal skills, with the ability to produce succinct, relevant, and data-driven reports and presentations for senior leaders
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure
Experience with MS Office required
