Job Summary As a Quality Assurance Engineer – Virtual & Simulation Testing, you will play a critical role in developing virtual platforms to test and verify solutions through simulations and emulations with a high degree of fidelity. You will partner with product teams, QA manual testing and requirements teams, and internal customers to ensure new solutions meet their requirements and are ready for operation, maintenance, deployment, and support. Key Responsibilities Develops, implements, and executes simulations and Hardware In the Loop (HIL) to virtually validate end-to-end solutions, using real-life software. Ensures that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training & learning, deployment, process- and MHE- integration, service, and support prior to delivery. Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products, and communicates them to hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams. Coordinates simulations and testing processes, and identifies and analyzes issues, bugs, defects, and other problems. Connects with internal customers, reviews client, customer, and user feedback, and maintains compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree (BS) in a relevant field. 5+ years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams in modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance domains. Proven experience in fulfillment systems with storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites. Preferred Qualifications Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members, operations, and management. Project management skills to start and finish projects successfully.
