Position Summary As a Python Developer with our team, you'll be accountable for developing and delivering technological responses to targeted business outcomes. You'll analyze, design, and develop enterprise data and information architecture deliverables, focusing on data as an asset for the enterprise. You'll work closely with our team and collaborate with other stakeholders as needed to deliver valuable data and information across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities: Utilize enterprise standards for data domains and data solutions, focusing on simplified integration and streamlined operational and analytical uses. Leverage innovative new technologies and approaches to renovate, extend, and transform the existing core data assets, including SQL-based, NoSQL-based, and Cloud-based data platforms. Define high-level migration plans to address the gaps between the current and future state. Contribute to the development of cost/benefit analysis for leadership to shape sound architectural decisions. Analyze technology environments to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement. Promote the reuse of data assets, including the management of the data catalog for reference. Draft architectural diagrams, interface specifications, and other design documents. Require Skills and Experience: 4+ years of Python experience : You have a strong foundation in Python programming and have experience working with various Python frameworks and libraries. Strong experience with SQL : You're proficient in SQL and have experience querying with extensive join conditions and updating based on conditions. DevOps experience : You're familiar with Linux, GitHub, Bash, and have experience with CI/CD lifecycles. Unit testing and integration testing : You have experience writing unit, integration, and regression tests. Static code analysis tools : You're familiar with static code analysis tools, linters, and PEP 8 standards. Cloud experience : You have experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform. Agile SCRUM experience : You've worked on Agile SCRUM projects and have a good understanding of Agile methodologies. Highly Desired Skills and Experience: Data Management : You have experience with Databricks, PySpark, Spark Structured Streaming, Delta Live Tables, and Delta Sharing. Expert knowledge of SQL : You have in-depth knowledge of SQL and are proficient in optimizing SQL queries. Streaming Technologies : You have experience with Apache Kafka, Azure EventHubs, and Avro. DevOps : You're familiar with GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Artifactory.
