You'll work closely with our cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, functionality, and aesthetics. Your expertise in product design, development, and manufacturing will be essential in driving our company's growth and success. Key Responsibilities * Drive plans from concept to large-scale manufacturing, focusing on balancing functionality, reliability, manufacturability, usability, and aesthetic requirements * Create and distribute detailed 3D CAD and 2D drawings for your designs, including GD&T, material selection, and manufacturing techniques * Collaborate with global manufacturing providers to drive the design forward * Attend meetings with providers and support manufacturing ramp-up during various stages of product development * Construct and investigate prototypes, examine results of reliability testing, iteratively improve the design, and bring it to large-scale manufacturing Essential Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Designing, a related field, or equivalent experience * 3 years of experience in designing and developing consumer electronics products for large-scale manufacturing * Experience with Siemens NX/Teamcenter Preferred Qualifications * 3 years of experience in leading technical initiatives and mentoring junior team members from the product design group * Experience in designing plastic parts, metal parts, and FPC/PCBs for large-scale manufacturing * Experience in coordinating camera and display modules into products * Experience in running thermal and primary simulations using ANSYS * Ability to communicate effectively and convey high-quality work, highlighting key risks and design conditions to cross-functional technical teams Skills and Competencies * Strong understanding of product design, development, and manufacturing principles * Excellent communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Proficiency in CAD design software, such as Siemens NX/Teamcenter * Experience with simulation tools, such as ANSYS Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Vacancyglobal, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
