As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for performing assigned preventive support tasks and minor mechanical repairs to our material-handling and other equipment. You'll also work closely with our Expert Maintenance Specialist to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on our advanced automated equipment. **Key Responsibilities** * Performs assigned preventive support tasks and minor mechanical repairs to material-handling and other equipment * Utilizes the Modernized Support Management Framework (MSMF) to maintain equipment and gear according to manufacturer's recommendations and best maintenance practices * Works with Expert Maintenance Specialist to perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on advanced automated equipment * Maintains a safe work environment by reporting and addressing potential safety issues related to material-handling equipment or distribution center office * Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime * Performs other duties as assigned by management **Essential Capabilities** * Associate's degree in Modern or Maintenance Technology and at least 2 years of maintenance experience in an office, US Military, distribution, or manufacturing environment * Or 4 years of maintenance experience in an office, US Military, distribution, or manufacturing environment * Knowledge of modern power systems, including single-phase and three-phase power, engines, safety devices, and photo sensors * At least 6 months of experience with Programmable Logic Regulator (PLC) logic standards * At least 6 months of experience transferring and downloading Programmable Logic Regulators (PLCs), System Control Programming (SCSs), and scanners * At least 6 months of experience with devices such as photo sensors, Programmable Logic Regulators (PLCs), remote Info/Result modules (I/O systems), servo drives, and variable frequency drives * Willing and able to move to the 100-foot level to make repairs without reasonable accommodation * Willing and able to lift parts and equipment weighing up to 80 pounds without reasonable accommodation * Willing and able to perform tasks that include stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking without reasonable accommodation **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with advanced automated equipment and systems * Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software * Experience with robotic systems and automation * Certification in maintenance technology or a related field * Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment **Skills and Competencies** * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills * Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and parts * Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment * Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
