Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our team. As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, galleries, rooms, wardrobes, furniture, artwork, windows, and other amenities. Responsibilities Clean and maintain all guest rooms, including: Making beds, cleaning bathrooms, and tidying furniture Changing bedding (sheets, pillowcases, duvet covers, and pillow inserts) on designated days Vacuuming and edging floor coverings, including under all furniture, and removing rug "spots" Tidying and final detailing windows, walls, and baseboards Cleaning decks/galleries, walls, floors, and furniture Cresting towels (may require special touches, such as folding towels a specific way and pleating bathroom tissue and tissues) Tidying up the entry of the room, including the front and back of the entry door, surrounding wall area Replacing amenities in guest rooms Changing shower liners/shower drapes, bed cushions, and other items Replacing glasses, cups, and carafes while adjusting rooms; includes cleaning coffee makers Changing ironing board covers as needed Stocking trucks/bins and taking stock of amenities/cloth/terry needed to renew rooms Deep cleaning the entire room and bathrooms on designated days Performing daily turndown duties for celebrity-level and determined guests Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential capabilities: Adaptability/Versatility: May work in various areas, conditions, or potentially have evolving start/end times Proactivity: Promptly reports concerns and responds to situations Physical Demands: Should utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (i.e., boots, gloves, goggles, and so), close-by tools (i.e., mops, brushes, and so on), power equipment/apparatuses, and sanitizers, degreasing synthetics, and all cleaning supplies Ability to get messy and tidy up others' messes Enthusiasm for collaborating and helping guests Independence and ability to complete mundane tasks while maintaining quality Openness to working in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment (~14 rooms/day) Ability to work alone in guest spaces for most of the shift Additionally, the following preferred capabilities are desirable: Appreciation for cleaning Past experience in a cleaning environment (previous housekeeping, kitchen/café, or other in-between cleaning conditions) Past experience in an independent role requiring minimal supervision/management Knowledge of Hawaiian/Japanese language (liked) Accessibility Requirements Preparation Accessibility: 3 months of full accessibility (day AND night) will be required promptly following the beginning date to complete the preparation. Extra arranged downtime (excursions or non-taken care of time) may not be accessible until the New Year.
