A Day in the Role As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Processing various medical documents, such as Independent Medical Reviews Extracting data from documents and entering it into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure that questions are addressed, documented, and cases are returned in a timely fashion Using critical thinking steps to determine next steps and reaching out to clients via phone to obtain missing information Providing excellent customer service and client coordination over the phone Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent required Reliable high-speed internet connection Personal computer or laptop for use in this role Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy is a must Previous experience working in a metrics-based environment Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Word Preferred Qualifications: Experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims Remote healthcare experience What We Offer Competitive Compensation and Benefits: blithequark offers a competitive hourly rate of $16 per hour.
