Job Description We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our EE Reconciliation Group, a rapidly growing and diverse team of engineers creating innovation integration that characterizes how clients interact with Apple Home items. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for creating critical electrical designs from concept to productization. Your expertise will be essential in defining the product, collaborating on engineering, and delivering exciting hardware products to our clients. Key Responsibilities Develop solid working experience with electrical design, including component selection, circuit design, schematic capture, component placement, and PCB/flex design. Produce high-quality deliverables and meet project deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to execute to a schedule. Apply exceptional EE fundamentals and schematic design working knowledge (DC/DC, power and signal integrity, Spice simulations) with natural abilities and a deep understanding of the EE discipline. Utilize expertise in advanced communication protocols (I2C, USB, MIPI, PCI-E, SPI, TDM, PDM). Participate in lab activities, including model development, troubleshooting, and practical validation. Collaborate with various technical teams at Apple, demonstrating strong communication, written, and verbal interpersonal skills. Develop designs from concept to large-scale manufacturing, ensuring seamless product development and delivery. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. At least 3 years of relevant industry experience focusing on hardware system integration. Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, including component selection, circuit design, and schematic capture. Experience with PCB design and layout, including component placement and routing. Proficiency in advanced communication protocols, such as I2C, USB, MIPI, PCI-E, SPI, TDM, and PDM. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex electrical systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications We're looking for candidates with: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. Experience with cloud-based design tools, such as Altium or Eagle. Knowledge of software development principles and practices. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Strong understanding of system-level design and integration.
