We're now seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Financial Aid Consultant to join our dynamic team, working remotely from anywhere in the U.S. About the Role As a Full Stack Financial Aid Consultant at Blithequark, you will play a pivotal role in delivering top-notch services to colleges and universities across the country. Your expertise will be instrumental in conducting operational reviews, preparing comprehensive assessment reports, and developing improvement plans that enhance financial aid operations. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your knowledge and experience to drive positive change and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to identify and address financial aid compliance and operational issues through improvement plans. This may involve serving as an acting director of financial aid, performing middle management duties, or handling standard day-to-day financial aid processing tasks. Regulatory Analysis: Research complex regulatory issues and provide concise analysis and recommendations to ensure compliance and best practices. Operational Reviews: Conduct thorough operational reviews and prepare comprehensive reports of findings, highlighting areas for improvement and potential solutions. Training and Development: Lead training sessions on financial aid issues for individual clients or groups, fostering a deeper understanding of regulatory requirements and operational best practices. Project Planning: Create detailed project plans, outlining objectives, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure successful project execution. Software Implementation: Manage software implementation or configuration, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes. Requirements and Qualifications To succeed as a Full Stack Financial Aid Consultant at Blithequark, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education, business, or a related discipline. Progressive Experience: Five to seven years of progressive experience in financial aid, with a strong background in regulatory compliance, operational improvement, and training. Organizational and Training Skills: Ability to organize and deliver training sessions, both individually and in groups. Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulatory requirements. Technical Skills: Experience with automation and major financial aid information systems, including Microsoft Office products. Communication Skills: Demonstrated strong writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner. Preferred Qualifications: System Experience: Three or more years of experience with major student information systems, such as Banner, CampusVue, Datatel, PeopleSoft, PowerFAIDS, or similar systems.
