Remote Full-time

Our innovative approach has earned us a Series D valuation of over $1.5 billion, with a presence in 190 countries and 900 million people protected worldwide. We're not just building a company – we're building a movement. We're seeking an exceptional Engineering Manager to join our Customer Success team. As a key member of our organization, you'll be responsible for leading the technical execution of client implementations, driving engineering standards, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality solutions, empowering teams, and driving business growth, we want to hear from you. **About arenaflex** arenaflex is the world's first RiskOps platform for financial risk management. Our cloud-based platform, powered by machine learning and artificial intelligence, is trusted by the world's largest banks, processors, and retailers to protect trillions of dollars and manage risk while improving the customer experience. With a strong focus on innovation and customer satisfaction, we're committed to making a positive impact on the financial services industry. **Your Mission** As an Engineering Manager at arenaflex, your mission will be to enable repeatable, scalable, and high-quality technical implementations by embedding best practices, ensuring alignment with our product standards, and building technical teams that are both customer-focused and delivery-oriented. You'll be responsible for leading one or more engineering teams focused on client implementations, bringing together product understanding, technical leadership, and people management to ensure high-quality, efficient delivery. **Your Day-to-Day** As an Engineering Manager at arenaflex, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Leading technical delivery: Own the engineering execution of client implementations from design to deployment, ensuring scalability, stability, and maintainability of custom solutions. * Being hands-on: Act as a Technical Lead where needed – participating in solution design, code reviews, and critical debugging, especially for complex or high-risk client needs. * Supporting the team: Hire, coach, and grow software engineers and technical consultants; build a high-performing, motivated, and accountable team culture. * Bridging the field and the product: Understand customer requirements and constraints; propose scalable solutions that align with arenaflex's product and architecture guidelines. * Driving engineering standards: Implement and uphold best practices, technical quality controls, and delivery consistency across regions and teams. * Continuously improving: Contribute to the evolution of delivery frameworks, toolkits, and reusable components that accelerate integration efforts. * Collaborating cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Risk & AI, and Project Management teams to align on priorities, unblock issues, and coordinate execution. **You Have and You Know How** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * Technical depth: 5+ years of software engineering (Java preferred) or DevOps experience, with deep knowledge of modern software development practices. * Leadership experience: 2+ years leading technical teams in customer-facing environments, ideally with global or distributed teams. * Client orientation: Proven experience delivering complex integrations in demanding, regulated environments, ideally in Financial Services. * Process mindset: Ability to define and evolve engineering practices that improve execution predictability, quality, and speed. * Strong communication skills: Adept at translating technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Empowering leadership: A track record of coaching and developing engineers, driving ownership and accountability. * Familiarity with system integration, data pipelines, and real-time event processing. * Understanding of project management lifecycles (Agile, Scrum, etc.). * Experience working in a product-led company delivering client-specific customizations. **The arenaflex Culture** At arenaflex, we're passionate about creating a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and customer satisfaction. We believe in empowering our teams to make a positive impact on the financial services industry, and we're committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment. Our culture is built on the following values: * Customer obsession: We're dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences and building long-term relationships with our clients. * Innovation: We're passionate about staying ahead of the curve and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the RiskOps space. * Collaboration: We believe in working together as a team to achieve common goals and drive business growth. * Inclusion: We're committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment that values different perspectives and backgrounds. **Your First 30-Days at arenaflex** As a new member of our team, you'll be immersed in our culture and processes through training, connections, and one-on-one time with your manager. You'll have the opportunity to shadow your colleagues virtually or onsite at an office, depending on your location, and start working on projects and collaborating with your team. We're excited to welcome you to the arenaflex family and support you on your journey. **Why Join arenaflex?** * Be part of a revolutionary company that's changing the face of financial risk management. * Work with a talented team of innovators and problem-solvers who are passionate about making a positive impact. * Enjoy a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and collaboration. * Develop your skills and expertise in a fast-paced and dynamic industry. * Have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our customers and the financial services industry as a whole. **How to Apply** If you're passionate about delivering high-quality solutions, empowering teams, and driving business growth, we want to hear from you.
