Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our Integrated Operations Division, specifically within the Engineering Group. As a key member of our team, you will provide engineering support for the maintenance and operation of aircraft and related equipment. This role also involves establishing and maintaining aircraft and part standards within designated areas of responsibility. Key Responsibilities Conducts training for Specialists in areas of expertise Acts as a guide to other Engineers Serves as a team leader/facilitator over project management or issue resolution Coordinates with manufacturers and regulatory agencies, as required, and ensures that Engineering manuals are properly validated according to material standards and Company manuals Develops customized procedures and special rules for repairs, changes, inspections, adjustments, and other support activities not adequately addressed in existing manuals Remains informed about daily carrier operations within the field of liability, reviews daily needs according to aircraft/departmental targets and management mandates Analyzes aircraft/part issues that may cause aircraft delays or cancellations, significant uses in labor or materials, or breaks in maintenance operations, and determines suitable corrective actions Provides Engineering support as needed to address discrepant circumstances affecting aircraft or parts to restore workable status Responds to demands from Maintenance and other carrier divisions when technical help is required to support operations or resolve issues Develops activity plans for fleet/multi-fleet and/or part engineering projects and pursues detailed attitudes according to assessed needs Coordinates with other aircraft divisions, as needed, to accommodate effective and efficient execution of engineering manners Prepares Engineering documents to carry out technical manners by providing customized procedures for repairs, changes, inspections, or other support activities that furnish benefits according to aircraft/departmental targets and management mandates Maintains knowledge of current and forthcoming regulations that influence areas of responsibility and ensures that all Engineering activities maintain compliance with material regulatory requirements Utilizes available resources to build levels of technical expertise and practical experience continuously, also endeavors to improve communications skills, using time effectively, and other personal characteristics relevant to maximum effectiveness and efficiency in performing appointed duties Effectively engages with frontline colleagues and management alike Requirements and Qualifications Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering field or related Engineering permit 1 year of engineering experience in a connected field or 2 years of experience without a degree A&P permit Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Ability to analyze technical information and make data-driven decisions Demonstrates fitness, capacity, and readiness to take on new roles and responsibilities Ability to prepare and deliver presentations that advance recognition of solutions Ability to interact with internal and external clients effectively Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the aviation industry Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills What We Offer Compensation and Benefits: $21 hourly compensation Medical benefits, including health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage Virtual specialist visits and flexible spending accounts Health programs providing tools, resources, and support for well-being 401(k) program with employer contributions Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, cars, travel, and more Career Growth and Learning Benefits: At Blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
