Job Summary

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced EHS Lead to join our team and support the Waukee records middle's operations. This role will work closely with Apple and dealer leadership and friends to supervise web site operations, preservation and construction activities. The EHS Lead will drive consistency and technique improvements within the areas of construction protection, bodily protection, business hygiene, and environmental compliance. This is a full-time, in-character role that requires a strong understanding of EHS principles, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

As an EHS Lead, you will be responsible for:


Collaborating with local and broader site groups, company EHS training crew, and the records center education crew to ensure training is developed and deployed according with rules and mission wishes
Conducting job risk analysis, identifying controls, and approving work permits
Overseeing on-site contractors and vendors
Leading or participating in incident investigations, developing corrective actions, and riding actions to closure
Engaging in EHS audits and tests
Supporting chemical and hazardous materials management
Complying with record retaining and reporting requirements for air, water, and waste permits
Performing business hygiene tests
Supporting corporate EHS initiatives to enhance control systems, standards improvement, and technology systems


Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:


A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant EHS discipline area
At least 3-5 years of experience in EHS, with a strong emphasis on construction, contractor management, and data center preservation and operations
Strong knowledge of facilities control, engineering, production, environmental control, physical safety, fire/life safety, and industrial hygiene
Excellent company, project management, data analytics, and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills, with the ability to persuade without authority
Potential to learn and use software solutions for data control, online file collaboration, and digital meetings
Ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
Ability to respond quickly with clear and accurate input to a range of stakeholders
Strong collaboration skills, with a team-first mindset
Solid knowledge of applicable consensus standards and federal, state, and local regulations


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:


Applicable technical certifications, such as CSP or CIH
Ability to support after-hours emergency response
