Our team is comprised of talented individuals who share a common goal: to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our customers and employees alike. **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Strategy - Customer Experience to lead our strategy team and drive business growth through strategic planning, process improvement, and customer-centric initiatives. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for identifying areas of key organizational focus, leading multiple project teams, and developing deep relationships with senior arenaflex leadership. This is a hybrid role that offers flexibility and work-life balance, with the opportunity to work from our remote office or from home. **Key Responsibilities** * Partner with cross-functional teams across arenaflex to ensure operational areas are considered in project plans * Coordinate responsibilities of Operations Managers and Analysts, supporting and partnering with the Operations Strategy Team to develop, staff, pilot, and implement process improvements within the stores * Oversee the overall project workflow and roll-out schedule in regard to operational areas, measuring the impact of changes and new projects on operational areas * Remain up-to-date on operational areas of expertise to meet requests for improvement and practice continuous process improvement * Partner with Field Implementation Managers to establish project metrics and tollgates in relation to operational expertise * Utilize expertise in strategic thinking and process design to drive successful improvements in operational areas, working towards quick implementation and quick return on investment * Evaluate needs of multiple project requests and impact on operational areas, aggregating data gathered by Operations Analysts and ensuring needs of projects are met * Select, develop, and motivate assigned staff **Direct Manager/Direct Reports** * Direct and indirect reports typically include 5 professionals and 14 support associates * Requires interpersonal skills for dealing with sensitive or controversial situations * Faces situations that have a variety of interpretations and require careful evaluation * Considers new approaches within general policies and short-term goals when solving problems * Provides infrequent status reports to management only as appropriate **Travel Requirements** * Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time **Physical Requirements** * Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunity to move about * On rare occasions, there may be a need to move or lift light articles **Working Conditions** * Usually in a comfortable environment, but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort from such things as dust, fumes, or odors * Under regular pressure to meet deadlines, quotas, and/or must frequently deal with difficult issues related to people or situations **Minimum Qualifications** * Must be eighteen years of age or older * Must be legally permitted to work in the United States **Preferred Qualifications** * 10+ years of prior experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or other strategic role * Experience in the application of research findings to the retail environment * History of promotion/advancement * Advanced degree preferred; MBA preferred **Minimum Education** * The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job **Preferred Education** * No additional education **Minimum Years of Work Experience** * 8 **Preferred Years of Work Experience** * No additional years of experience **Minimum Leadership Experience** * None **Preferred Leadership Experience** * None **Certifications** * None **Competencies** * Proven financial analysis and business acumen * Strong understanding of Operations and area of expertise * Able to easily influence others * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent skills in communication and leveraging partnerships to benefit project objectives * Proven track record in management and leadership skills **What We Offer** * Competitive salary * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and results-driven professional with a passion for customer experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
