Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our Advanced Innovation team. As a Senior Data Scientist - Statistics, you will provide mathematical modeling and analysis services to support critical business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improvement. Key Responsibilities: Develop and apply statistical models and machine learning algorithms to drive business outcomes Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs Design, develop, and deploy large-scale data models and analytics solutions Work with product delivery teams to integrate data-driven solutions into business operations Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in statistics, machine learning, and data science Contribute to the development of business cases and proposals for data-driven solutions Provide ongoing analytical support to client associations Develop and deliver presentations and reports to stakeholders Requirements: Essential Qualifications: Postgraduate education (PhD or ABD) in Statistics or a related quantitative discipline Coursework or work experience with statistical modeling and analysis, including the application of advanced statistical techniques Experience with programming languages such as R, Python, or Julia Strong business, technical, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with clients Proficiency in MS Office and other productivity tools Successful completion of an interview to assess technical skills and fit Strong, reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of the position Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Minor in computer science or formal advanced computer science coursework 2+ years of professional experience in a quantitative field 1+ year of experience in the airline industry or a related field Experience with large-scale data modeling and analytics solutions Knowledge of industry data sources and data structures Demonstrated ability to drive business value through data-driven solutions What We Offer: At Blithequark, we offer a range of benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
