Experienced Full Stack Data Scientist – Generative AI and Machine Learning Specialist for Amazon Web Services

As a Generative AI and Machine Learning Specialist, you will work closely with clients, partners, and internal teams to design and implement cutting-edge solutions that drive business value. Key Responsibilities: As a Generative AI and Machine Learning Specialist, you will be responsible for: Customer Advisor: * Implement and install the latest system learning algorithms under Gen AI * Build prototypes and PoCs, and discover new solutions * Interact closely with our clients and with the academic network Thought Leadership: * Evangelize AWS GenAI offerings and share best practices through boards including AWS blogs, white papers, reference architectures, and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc. * Partner with SAS, Sales, Business Development, and the AI/ML Service groups to boost client adoption and provide guidance on their client engagements Technical Liaison: * Act as a technical liaison between clients and the AWS SageMaker services groups to provide client-driven product development feedback * Develop and assist an AWS internal network of ML-associated challenges to be counted as professionals worldwide * Create area enablement materials for the wider SA population, to help them understand how to combine Amazon Web Services GenAI solutions into client architectures Essential Qualifications: * 2+ years of data scientist experience * 3+ years of data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python) or statistical/mathematical software (e.g. R, SAS, Matlab, etc.) experience * 3+ years of system knowledge/statistical modeling statistics evaluation gear and techniques, and parameters that affect their performance experience * Master's degree in a quantitative field including statistics, mathematics, statistics science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science * 2+ years experience studying and applying big language and generative AI models * Strong background in Natural Language Processing, including experience with text representation, language modeling, sequence-to-sequence architectures, and semantic understanding Preferred Qualifications: * Active in the open source network, including HuggingFace, StableDiffusion, etc * Large models pre-train/fine-tuning experience, familiar with distributed training * Customers go through abilities to represent AWS properly in the client's surroundings and pressure discussions with senior employees concerning trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation * Demonstrated capacity to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an organization's surroundings * Track record of concept management and innovation around Machine Learning * Experience with LangChain, LLAMAIndex, Foundation version tuning, Data Augmentation, and Performance Evaluation frameworks * Led a cloud initiative as an AWS client or consulting with a client of their own IT transformation Benefits: Our benefits can vary by location, the number of often scheduled hours you work, and the length you've worked for us.
