Our team of talented professionals is dedicated to delivering exceptional experiences that delight and inspire our audiences around the world. **Job Summary** As a Lead Data Scientist on our Ads Data Solutions Research team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer engagement. You will work closely with our Sales Analytics, Finance, Business Operations, Commerce Product, and Engineering teams to develop and deploy models that tackle complex business challenges, including revenue growth, inventory management, delivery optimization, outcome measurement, pricing, and more. If you have a strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization, and are passionate about driving business growth through data insights, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity. **Key Responsibilities** * Design, build, and deploy data-driven solutions that drive business growth and improve customer engagement * Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to develop and deploy models that tackle complex business challenges * Develop and maintain statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and data visualizations to support business decision-making * Work closely with our Engineering team to develop and deploy data-driven solutions * Drive experimentation to test the effectiveness of data-driven solutions and optimize for maximum impact * Develop and maintain deep insights on audience, brand, and ad operational data systems and metrics * Mine large datasets to identify opportunities for revenue growth, viewer ad experience improvement, and subscriber acquisition and retention * Develop prototype solutions, mathematical models, algorithms, and strong analytics to communicate actionable insights clearly and visually **Essential Qualifications** * Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Operations Research, Econometrics, Statistics) * 7+ years of experience designing, building, and comparing realistic systems knowledge solutions * 7+ years of experience with statistical programming languages (e.g. Python, Spark, PySpark) and database languages (e.g. SQL) * Strong analytical skills, superior level of data knowledge * Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical **Nice-to-Haves** * Doctorate's degree in a quantitative field * Strong knowledge of Python and libraries including sci-kit-learn, SciPy * Familiarity with Bayesian modeling and probabilistic programming applications including PyMC * Familiarity with data structures and programs including Databricks, Jupyter, Snowflake, Airflow, Github * Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools including Tableau, Looker * Familiarity with designing and reading A/B testing and other test types * Demonstrated skills in choosing the right statistical tools given a data analysis problem * Ability to adapt quickly in fast-changing environments with shifting priorities * Strong leadership experience, including people and project management **What We Offer** * Competitive salary range: $25-45/Hour * Opportunity to work with a leading entertainment and media company * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional development and growth opportunities * Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off * Flexible work arrangements, including remote work options **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and talented data scientist with a passion for driving business growth through data insights, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
