Job Summary We are looking for a highly experienced Data Science Manager to oversee the development and implementation of strategic plans for a designated region. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading teams, managing budgets, and driving business solutions through advanced analytics and data science. This is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity that offers a competitive salary range of $35-$40 per year. Key Responsibilities Develops, implements, and manages strategic plans for a designated region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Leads teams assigned to projects, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure successful project outcomes. Designs, develops, and implements techniques, processes, and frameworks to integrate and analyze diverse data sets, including structured and unstructured data. Serves as a subject matter expert, providing expertise and guidance on complex data science issues and opportunities. Develops and maintains key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including peers, colleagues, and leadership, to drive business solutions and strategies. Creates and executes budget plans, managing financial resources to meet business objectives and goals. Apportions available resources to meet operational targets, ensuring effective use of assets and capabilities. Develops and tutors staff through onboarding, open communication, training, and development opportunities, fostering a culture of excellence and employee engagement. Essential Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, computational, or technical discipline. At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in a work environment. At least 2 years of direct management, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership experience. Technical Skills Profound knowledge of SQL and experience with analysis and statistical programming languages, such as Python, R, Hadoop, SAS, and SPSS. Experience with open-source data science and statistics packages, such as Python, R, and Flash. Ability to develop and maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications Education and Experience Advanced degree in a quantitative, computational, or technical discipline. Experience communicating at the executive level. Experience driving cross-functional teams.
