Job Summary As a Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our data entry processes, including: * Planning and executing daily and monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger * Serving as a key owner of the monthly close cycle for ourselves and external entities for explicitly assigned functional areas * Ensuring financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial statements using accepted methodologies * Assisting in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys * Communicating with FP&A, functional partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters * Performing special investigations and tasks to further our cycle improvement initiatives Responsibilities * Plan and execute daily and monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for specific areas of the general ledger * Serve as a key owner of the monthly close cycle for ourselves and external entities for explicitly assigned functional areas * Ensure financial records are maintained for Management and GAAP Combined financial statements using accepted methodologies * Assist in providing expectations to external auditors on annual reviews and quarterly surveys * Communicate with FP&A, functional partners, and external parties regarding significant accounting matters * Perform special investigations and tasks to further our cycle improvement initiatives * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business objectives and process improvements * Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including FP&A, functional partners, and external parties * Stay up-to-date with changing accounting regulations and standards, and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX/ internal controls Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field * 2+ years of relevant accounting experience * Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB principles, and SOX/internal controls * Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and GSuite preferred * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and written skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability * Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications * CPA certification or working towards certification * Experience with cloud-based accounting systems and software * Strong knowledge of financial planning and analysis, including budgeting and forecasting * Experience with data analysis and reporting, including the use of data visualization tools * Strong understanding of business operations and processes, including supply chain management and logistics * Experience with project management and implementation of process improvements About Our Culture At DoorDash, we're passionate about creating a workplace that is inclusive, diverse, and supportive of all employees.
