We're seeking an Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist to join our Details and Data Gathering team, working from the comfort of their own home.Job Summary: As an Experienced Full Stack Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of sports information disseminated by our Details and Data team across various ESPN platforms. You will work with automated data feeds and utilize manual data entry to guarantee the delivery of precise, timely, and intelligent sports information. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will make you an invaluable asset to our team. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure sports information disseminated by our Details and Data team is precise, timely, and intelligent.* Work in individual settings and in groups to deliver accurate detailed breakdown, clock-and-score, and other measurements and information in real-time that power a multitude of ESPN items and productions. * Create and maintain a working knowledge of our Details and Data team's role in fueling ESPN digital products and television productions. * Review the results of your own work and that of others; perform with a consistently high level of quality. * Contribute to production, projects, and initiatives across the newsroom, and assist newsroom leaders who are coordinating full- and part-time staff.* Anticipate potential issues, both daily and long-term, and propose possible solutions. Communicate rapidly and clearly with colleagues on these issues. * Play a proactive role in working with colleagues in creating or refining production processes. * Be an active member in team and division meetings. * Seek and respond to feedback on private performance. * Remain informed about current office policies and procedures. EssentialQualifications: * Working knowledge of teams, players, and the rules of the games.* Full-time availability, which will include evenings (only), weekends, and holidays. * Ability to quickly learn production processes that produce or maintain sports information that drives ESPN's digital and television products. * Capacity to achieve a high level of content accuracy in time-sensitive production circumstances. * Ability to communicate confidently – verbally and in writing – to production managers and colleagues about production issues and opportunities, often through the noise of a busy newsroom.PreferredQualifications: * 1+ years' experience working in sports or potentially analytics, ideally in media. * Knowledge of how sports information is used in media and for research purposes. * Working knowledge of ESPN products and productions. * Experience with bolthires Excel and other Office tools * Experience leading or training a team. * Ability to speak and write Spanish * Experience using social media in a business or news environment RequiredEducation: * High school diploma or equivalent PreferredEducation: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent * Extra Data: (e.g.actual requirements, shifts, etc.) Position Details: * This position fills in for late shifts (only), weekends, and holidays. * Work from home opportunity with a dynamic and supportive team.
