You'll work closely with colleagues across the organization to identify new data opportunities and develop metrics to provide robust controls and insights. **Key Responsibilities** * Support the development of revolutionary and impactful techniques through strategic partnerships to drive business growth and credit and fraud risk control excellence * Support the Enterprise Data Strategy throughout the customer lifecycle through data-driven and risk-based total principles * Analyze present and new data to identify opportunities to optimize our data solutions and purchases and address business needs * Review and display data quality, integrity, and freshness * Analyze present data to develop metrics to provide robust controls and insights * Collaborate with new data and present partners to identify new data opportunities and develop present data change processes * Closely partner with colleagues across CFR Data Strategy, Product Owners, Compliance, CFR Risk Strategy, CFR Fraud Strategy, and Decisions Science * Support the team with third-party relationships management and adherence to AXP's Third Party Lifecycle Management program **Essential Qualifications** * Demonstrated ability to work independently and across a matrixed organization to provide solutions at high speed * Ability to manage and lead large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders * Good communication and influencing skills with the ability to translate data and analytics into business insights and recommendations, conceptualize and promote ideas * Strong technical skills to perform data analysis, analytics, and matrices tracking/reporting * Knowledge of Python, SQL, Spark, SAS, and familiarity with large data and cloud environments * Experience in an economic services company in data or process function * Knowledge of Credit Risk and or Fraud Risk standards, practices, or outside Credit or Fraud Risk data reasserts preferred * Master's Degree or better required, concentration in a quantitative discipline preferred * Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fluid environment **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience in data science, machine learning, or artificial intelligence * Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques * Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and tools * Experience working with large datasets and data warehouses * Certification in data science, machine learning, or artificial intelligence **Benefits** * Competitive base salaries * Bonus incentives * 6% Company Match on retirement savings plan * Free financial education and financial well-being support * Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability benefits * Flexible work arrangements and schedules with hybrid and digital options with Amex Flex * 20+ weeks paid parental leave for all parents, regardless of gender, provided for pregnancy, adoption, or surrogacy * Free admission to international web-based well-being facilities staffed with nurses and doctors (depending on location) * Free and exclusive counseling support through our Healthy Minds program * Career development and education opportunities **How to Apply** If you're a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for data-driven decision making, we want to hear from you!
