Job Summary We're looking for an experienced full stack data entry clerk to join our team on a night shift. As a data entry clerk, you'll play a critical role in processing and managing data for our clients. The position entails a variety of responsibilities, including data capture, scanning, and quality processing. Key Responsibilities Prepping documents for scanning, including classifying, orienting, repairing, and removing objects like staples and paperclips Scanning documents using paper scanners, cleaning and calibrating scanners, and fixing bad images and double feeds Quality processing of filmed documents, including calibration, loading, and cleaning of microfilm equipment Data capture, including finding key data and entering alphanumeric data into the appropriate database Notifying supervisor of potential dangers and demonstrating a high level of safety awareness Protecting the company's and its customers' informational assets by adhering to security and privacy policies, standards, and guidelines Essential Qualifications Secondary School Certificate or GED Requires six months to a year of general office experience Two years of prior experience scanning Proficient communication skills, including written and verbal communication Developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, other business areas, and government agencies Planning and organizational skills, including the ability to coordinate workload around complex, multiple assignments Preferred Qualifications Prior experience with data entry software and systems Familiarity with scanning and microfilm equipment Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Physical Demands The physical demands associated with this role include: Sitting and typing on a computer (with a keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or an adding machine for extended periods Walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping Occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, or pulling of up to 25 pounds Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, including: Starting pay rate: $15.50-16.50 per hour 40 hours per week Dental insurance 401(k) Discounts for employees Flexible schedule Health insurance through a health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral benefits Vision insurance Why Join blithequark?
