Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team in a remote capacity. As a Data Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and supporting analytics solutions that drive business decisions and enhance customer experiences. Key Responsibilities


Work closely with data software teams and product owners to design, implement, and support analytics solutions that provide actionable insights
Implement data migration and engineering solutions using Azure products and services, such as Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure Databricks
Perform multiple components of the development lifecycle, including design, cloud engineering, ingestion, preparation, data modeling, testing, CICD pipelines, performance tuning, deployments, and production support
Provide technical assistance and collaborate with team members, as well as work independently
Be part of a DevOps team that owns and supports their product, implementing batch and streaming data pipelines using cloud technologies
Develop coding standards, best practices, and privacy and security guidelines


Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering, or a related technical discipline
1 year of software solution development experience using agile methodologies and DevOps practices
1 year of data analytics experience using SQL
1 year of cloud development and data lake experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure DevOps
Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python, Spark, and Unix, as well as SQL and data platforms like Teradata, Cassandra, and MongoDB


Preferred Qualifications


2 years of software solution development experience using agile methodologies and DevOps practices
3 years of data analytics experience using SQL
2 years of full-stack development experience, ideally in Azure
2 years of cloud development and data lake experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure EventHub, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and Azure Databricks
Airline industry experience


Skills and Competencies


Experience with Azure technology stack for data management, ingestion, capture, processing, curation, and developing intake layers
Working knowledge of Azure Native cloud services
Spark certification (preferred)
Azure Development Track certification (preferred)
