Job Summary We're seeking an experienced full stack data engineer to join our team in a remote data entry role. As a data engineer at blithequark, you'll be responsible for architecting, coding, and delivering software that makes us an integral part of our clients' digital lives. Key Responsibilities Develop, deploy, and operate relational database programs across development, test, and production environments Design and implement powerful test instances that are integrated into CI/CD pipelines Develop observability abilities into solutions to enable the critical identification of root causes for failures in time-sensitive processes Ensure scalability with SQL and other relevant technologies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall quality of the codebase Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our solutions Requirements Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field 2-3 years of experience in developing, deploying, and operating relational database programs Proven ability to develop powerful test instances and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines Experience with observability abilities into solutions to enable the critical identification of root causes for failures Strong understanding of SQL and data modeling concepts Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Public Cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) is a plus Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git) Skills and Competencies Strong technical skills in data engineering, with a focus on relational databases and SQL Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we're committed to supporting the growth and development of our colleagues.
