Our team of talented engineers, data scientists, and product managers work together to build innovative solutions that drive business growth and user engagement. **Job Description:** As a Data Engineer at arenaflex, you'll be part of our Development Knowledge and Establishments Information Designing team, which is responsible for making basic information accessible to improve "in-the-moment" experiences across different product materials for both current and future Netflix users. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with data researchers and other engineers to build low-latency data products that drive calculations and AI models that impact our business, character streams, understand business requirements and develop data-driven solutions to meet those needs. * Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance data pipelines and architectures to support our data science and machine learning initiatives. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data governance, security, and compliance policies. * Develop and maintain APIs, services, and structures to support data integration and exchange. * Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of high-quality, maintainable code. * Work with our data engineering team to design and implement data warehousing and business intelligence solutions. * Collaborate with our data science team to develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms. * Participate in on-call rotations to ensure high availability and uptime of our data systems. **Essential Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * 5+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or related field. * Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and data science concepts. * Experience with data engineering tools and technologies such as Apache Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Spark, and AWS. * Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Scala, Python, or C++. * Experience with data storage systems such as relational databases, NoSQL databases, and data warehouses. * Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance policies. * Experience with API design, development, and deployment. * Strong communication and collaboration skills. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. * 7+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or related field. * Experience with cloud-based data engineering tools and technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. * Experience with data science tools and technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn. * Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes. * Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI. * Strong understanding of data visualization and business intelligence tools and technologies. **Skills and Competencies:** * Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing,
