About the Role We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our tech group, you'll design, develop, and deploy cloud-based data processing and analytics systems that drive business insights and decision-making. You'll work closely with our skilled designers and engineers to build scalable, high-performance systems that meet the evolving needs of our customers. Key Responsibilities Design and develop cloud-based data processing and analytics systems using Java, Scala, and other relevant technologies. Build and deploy high-performance data pipelines using Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and other NoSQL databases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs. Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, and other software components using Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization tools. Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality software delivery. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our systems. Lead by example and promote a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. At least 2 years of experience in software development, with a focus on cloud-based systems and data processing. Strong proficiency in Java, Scala, and other relevant programming languages. Experience with NoSQL databases, such as Cassandra and Elasticsearch. Knowledge of cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify areas for improvement. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications We're looking for candidates with additional experience in: Conducted data processing and analytics using Cassandra, Elasticsearch, and other NoSQL databases. Developed and deployed microservices and APIs using Docker, Kubernetes, and other containerization tools. Worked with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure. Participated in DevOps practices, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment. Developed and maintained software components using Agile methodologies. Collaborated with data scientists and analysts to develop data-driven solutions.
