As a Data Engineer at blithequark, you'll be part of a talented team that's dedicated to using data and analytics to drive business growth and success. **Job Summary** We're seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team at blithequark. As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing complex data pipelines that drive business insights and analytics. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, data modelers, and data architects, to configure, build, test, and automate data pipelines that are relied upon across the organization. If you're a highly skilled data engineer with a passion for innovation and collaboration, we want to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities** * Creates and operationalizes data pipelines to make data accessible for use (BI, Advanced Analytics, Services) * Works with data modelers and data/BI architects to design data pipelines and suggests continuous improvement of data storage, data ingestion, data quality, and processing * Plans, creates, and carries out ETL/ELT processes using IICS (Informatica Cloud) * Utilizes Purplish blue services like Purplish blue SQL DW (Neural connection), ADLS, Sky blue Event Center, and Purplish blue Data Factory to improve and accelerate delivery of our data products and services * Carries out large data and NoSQL solutions by creating adaptable data handling stages to drive high-value insights to the organization * Identifies, plans, and carries out internal process improvements: automating manual processes, and enhancing data delivery * Identifies ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality of the data management * Conveys technical ideas to non-technical audiences both written and verbal * Performs peer reviews for other data architects' work **Requirements** * 2+ years' experience designing and operationalizing data pipelines with large and complex datasets * 2+ years' hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter * 2+ years' hands-on experience with Informatica IICS * 2+ years' experience working with Cloud technologies; like ADLS, Purplish blue Databricks, Flash, Purplish blue Neurotransmitter, Universe DB, and other big data advances * 2+ years' experience in Data Modeling, ETL, and Data Warehousing * 2+ years' hands-on experience implementing data integration procedures like event/message-based integration (Kafka, Sky blue Event Center), ETL **Preferred Qualifications** * Microsoft Purplish blue/comparable certifications * Experience delivering data solutions through agile software development approaches * Familiarity with the retail business * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Experience working with SAP integration tools including Bodies * Experience with UC4 Job Scheduler **What We Offer** * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunities for career growth and professional development * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance * Comprehensive training and support * Flexible work arrangements and remote work options * Access to the latest technologies and tools * Collaborative and supportive team environment * Opportunities for professional growth and development **About Our Culture** At blithequark, we're committed to creating a workplace culture that's inclusive, diverse, and supportive.
