As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center and server farm infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team, develop your skills, and contribute to the delivery of cutting-edge solutions. **Key Responsibilities** As a Full Stack Data Center Technician at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for the following key tasks: * Equipment installation and configuration of enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure * Equipment Break/Fix substitution of FRUs (Field Replaceable Units) * Rack installation, including placement, cabling, power-up, and handoff of servers to internal provisioning teams * Investigating and resolving Telco Availability issues * Investigating and replacing Organization Switch hardware * Collaborating with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues * Documenting activities and developing/altering Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) * Organized cabling, naming, and testing of fiber/copper/telecom links * Framework power supplies and cabling installation, repair, and maintenance * Executing small projects independently and working with your supervisor to plan and execute larger local tasks **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess the following essential qualifications: * Knowledge of server/storage/network equipment * Strong interest in learning new DC concepts * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Shift plan (4 days per week, 10-hour shifts), including weekends and holidays * 3+ years of experience working in an IT environment * Experience troubleshooting issues on servers, networking devices, and IT hardware * Stock management experience, including ordering, receiving, and delivering server parts * Experience handling on-call rotations and responding to critical incidents as needed * Experience escalating issues to Sr. on-site staff and management on a case-by-case basis * IT Equipment Concepts knowledge (Attack, SAN, SCIS, Linux/Unix, GRUB) * Familiarity with trunk framework is an asset **Preferred Capabilities** While not essential, the following preferred capabilities will make you a strong candidate for this role: * 2-year or 4-year degree or 3+ years of experience * 1 year+ experience in Organized Cabling Copper/Fiber, testing of links, Cooling and Electrical systems concepts within the data center * arenaflex is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities to participate in the employment process, perform essential job functions, and receive benefits and honors of employment.
