**Job Summary**
As an Experienced Full Stack Data Architect at arenaflex, you'll play a critical role in designing and implementing data architectures that support our business applications and drive business growth. You'll work closely with our data engineering and data science teams to develop and maintain our data center, ensuring that our data is accurate, secure, and easily accessible. Your expertise will help us make data-driven decisions, improve our operational efficiency, and enhance our customer experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead the development and maintenance of our data center, ensuring that our data is accurate, secure, and easily accessible.
* Design and implement data architectures that support our business applications and drive business growth.
* Collaborate with our data engineering and data science teams to develop and maintain our data center.
* Develop and maintain data models, data quality, and data governance policies.
* Create and maintain documentation that records how data should move from source systems to the utilization layer.
* Work with our information stewards to capture and record business metadata.
* Assess existing data architectures to improve data speed and efficiency.
* Stay current on industry trends and best practices in data-related technologies, models, and techniques.
* Record and provide recommendations resulting from data quality analysis.
* Drive the data architecture process in collaboration with business engineering.
* Build, advance, and maintain theoretical, intelligent, and physical data models.
* Provide guidance to the team on translating business needs into long-term engineering solutions.
* Work with data engineering and data stage teams to lead continuous execution improvement by investigating and presenting new innovations.
* Help define data coordination, storage, replication, and change conventions for the data layer of technical solutions supported by business engineering.
* Participate in the delivery of functional business execution monitoring capabilities.
* Conceptualize ideas with database designers, data specialists, and data researchers to create new data products.
* Tutor and mentor the data architecture team on new technologies and approaches in data engineering and architecture.
**Requirements**
* Strong understanding of data set management concepts (social data sets, NoSQL, etc.).
* Experience working with data modeling tools (erwin, PowerDesigner).
* Experience architecting and delivering data integration and ETL solutions.
* Experience planning and developing execution advanced data models.
* Ability to work off-hours as required, including on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 2+ years' experience in data engineering with large and complex datasets.
* 2+ years' experience working with cloud technologies like Azure SQL DB, ADLS, Azure Databricks, Universe DB, and other related data technologies.
* Skill in architecting and developing OLTP data models to support business applications.
* Understanding of data base standardization procedures.
* Experience driving data engineering and data solutions through agile software development methodologies.
* Familiarity with the retail industry.
* Experience leading software development teams.
* Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations.
