About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Analyst to join our Digital and Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team. As a Performance Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business results and defining industry standards through your analytical expertise. You will work closely with our Contact Centers and pre-arrival Walt Disney World Commerce teams to provide dimension and analytical support, leveraging your skills in forecasting, root-cause analysis, and data visualization to inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

As a Performance Analyst, you will be responsible for:


Conducting forecasting, ad-hoc modeling, and deep-dive analysis to inform business decisions
Monitoring agent performance, proactively identifying areas for further research, and personalizing analyses from start to finish
Building shows and visualizations to tell compelling stories with data
Presenting and discussing findings, insights, and recommendations to Senior Leadership and business partners
Creating, maintaining, auditing, and continuously optimizing reports and documents used to support various programs
Executing programs critical to the business operation under strict timelines


Measurement and Analytics

As a Full Stack Data Analyst, you will leverage multiple reporting tools and databases (Tableau, Snowflake, Hadoop, Dataiku, Excel, etc.) to conduct analyses and build/maintain reports. You will also:


Monitor data quality and document accuracy; improve as needed
Collaborate with team members, leaders, and business partners to respond to summary business questions with sound quantitative analyses and reproducible results
Apply progressive analytic techniques to test hypotheses and extract actionable insights
Stay up-to-date with current data technology trends and share knowledge and best practices with team members


Requirements

We are looking for individuals with:


Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of quantitative, non-internship experience in an analytical role
Familiarity with forecasting, including conventional statistical techniques and/or machine learning or deep learning techniques
Proactive interest in understanding the "Why" behind performance, decisions, etc.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks and complete projects on time
Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and visual)
Desire to excel in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous business environment
Experience with SQL and R or Python


Nice-to-Haves

Solid knowledge of statistical inference and proven experience in applying statistical rigor to analyses
Knowledge of data visualization best practices and experience with data visualization tools, including Tableau or Power BI
Excellent SQL skills and fluency in R or Python
Ability to quickly adapt and learn new tools and skills
Ability to maintain and develop relationships with partners/clients/team members
Graduate degree and/or 4+ years of relevant experience in analytics or data science
