Join our arenaflex family and discover a world of endless possibilities, where your growth is our top priority. **Why you'll love this role** • This position is nestled within our Operations Execution and Analysis department, where data science meets business acumen. • As a key analytical and decision support asset, you'll drive strategic initiatives across Operations Execution and Analysis and other business capabilities. • You'll also play a vital role in maintaining a high-performing organization with Schedule and Organization Planning teams. **What you'll do** • Develop and execute advanced analytical solutions for complex business problems using quantitative methods and models to drive operational excellence. • Design and maintain decision support models using simulation as well as statistical techniques to inform business decisions. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine flight schedule planning, development, and assessment processes, leveraging quantitative tools to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness. • Support the organization's long-term strategic and growth initiatives through simulation modeling and related analysis. • Develop and maintain quantitative models to assess, recommend, and implement operational efficiencies within the airport, airspace, and ATC environments. • Engage in data-driven discussions with stakeholders across the organization, fostering a culture of evidence-based decision making. • Research industry trends, develop recommendations for innovation, test cutting-edge ideas, and support the implementation of new decision support systems. • Benchmark arenaflex's performance against industry peers and competitors. • Collaborate with IT divisions, related business offices, and external vendors to ensure seamless planning, assessment, and execution of new decision support systems. • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in scientific procedures and IT solutions addressing complex business challenges. **All you'll need for success** **Minimum Qualifications** • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative discipline (Operations Research, Analytics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field). • In-depth knowledge and strong foundation in at least one of the following specialized areas: + Advanced optimization techniques (LPs, MIPs, etc.) and experience building large-scale models using FICO Xpress, ILOG CPLEX, or similar. + Building simulation models using AirTOP, SIMMOD, Field, SIMIO, or similar. + Statistical and AI procedures and experience applying predictive analytics to practical business problems. + Solid foundation in programming and modeling languages (Java and SAS, R, or Python). + Experience with data extraction, cleaning, and analysis of large datasets to identify key patterns and insights. + Experience using data visualization tools (Tableau or similar) to investigate and analyze data. + Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills (both oral and written). **Preferred Qualifications** • Postgraduate education (Master's or PhD) in a quantitative discipline (Operations Research, Analytics, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field). • Industry knowledge in the airline or transportation-related field. • Familiarity with Big Data approaches, technologies, and related data querying tools. **Skills, Licenses, and Certifications** • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SQL, and similar tools. • Strong business acumen, technical knowledge/development outlook, and a drive for results. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, handle multiple tasks, and respond effectively to changing needs. **What you'll get** • Unlock the full potential of arenaflex: + Travel Benefits: Ready to explore the world?
