We cultivate loyalty and satisfaction through exceptional service and support, and we foster a culture of responsive, informed, and devoted service – from the inside out – through company services that our people can rely on. **The Role** As a Home Based Sr. Specialist in Collections, you'll be responsible for: * Interacting with customers and negotiating bill arrangements for both inbound and outbound collections * Providing a blithequark-branded interaction with credit account holders through treating them with respect and appreciation, showing courtesy and friendliness, identifying various account holder segments, and offering suitable solutions * Demonstrating problem-solving skills through probing or making recommendations for handling exceptional account situations (e.g. bankruptcy, CCC, deceased, legal, fraud, billing disputes, etc.) * Working in a multi-media environment (emails, phone calls, chat messages, and letters) that's fast-paced and requires prioritization * The core responsibilities of this role are defined in this job description. Job responsibilities may change at any time due to business needs. **Requirements** * High School Diploma or GED * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays * 1-2 years of previous customer experience or customer service experience * Ability to interact with customers, employees, and internal business partners with a professional, friendly, empathetic style, and de-escalate as needed * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including listening, negotiating, and decision-making skills.
