We're committed to driving profitability while making a positive impact on our customers' lives. **Role Snapshot** * Start Date: Immediate openings available * Position: Customer Care Nurse - West & Central Coast - Remote * Compensation: A competitive salary * Location: Remote * Company: arenaflex **Responsibilities** As a Customer Care Nurse, you'll be responsible for: * Providing claimants with an explanation of the intake and subsequent claims process expectations * Effectively assessing, evaluating, and documenting a claimant's medical information to initiate the claim process while reviewing functional limitations or work accommodations * Gathering medically diagnosed restrictions and/or limitations for Return To Work expectations * Determining the medical complexity and appropriate assignment duration and/or a medical milestone for the assigned claim * Accurately entering employee/employer/physician intake information into our claim technology platform for the appropriate tracking of all clinical impressions * Effectively communicating complex medical information to claimants in a clear, simple, and concise manner * Demonstrating sound medical knowledge and clinical assessment in a time-sensitive claim intake **Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * An active LPN/LVN license (RN licenses will be considered) * A minimum of 12 months of practicing clinical experience with broad spectrum knowledge about anatomy and physiology * Clinical Case Management experience preferred * Excellent communication skills (oral/written) * Excellent keyboard/automation skills * Working proficiency of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint) * Preferably located in the West or Central time zones **Additional Information** * Start date: Monday, June 3rd, 2024 * Location: This is a 100% remote, work-from-home opportunity * Training hours: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM EST, Monday thru Friday for the first 8 weeks of employment. Time off during training is not accommodated * Post-training: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST, Monday thru Friday * Internet Connectivity Requirement/Remote Positions: For 100% remote positions, we require that (1) you have high-speed broadband cable internet service with minimum upload/download speeds of 10Mbps/100Mbps and (2) your Internet provider-supplied device is to be hardwired to the arenaflex-issued router and/or computer. **Compensation** The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency, and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of arenaflex's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition.
