Experienced Full Stack Bookkeeper – QuickBooks Expert for Remote Financial Support

About the Role We are seeking an experienced and skilled Bookkeeper to join our team as a QuickBooks Expert. Reporting to the Director of Bookkeeping Services, this remote Bookkeeper will provide financial support to external clients, handling a variety of financial transactions and tasks. Key Responsibilities Client account preparation and cleanup Conversion of client accounts to QuickBooks Online Handling Accounts Receivable (AR) Entering and paying Accounts Payable (AP) invoices Credit Collections Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations Account Reconciliation Sales Tax filing Handling special projects as required Compiling expense reports Organizing and filing documents Maintaining confidential files Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills: Essential Qualifications At least four (4) years of bookkeeping experience Expert with QuickBooks Online, experience with QuickBooks Desktop a plus Knowledge of how to integrate credit card and vendor transactions via QuickBooks and QuickBooks online Proficient in Microsoft Excel Experience with compiling and filing Sales Tax Strong organizational skills; ability to schedule and accomplish assigned tasks in a timely manner Articulate with excellent communication skills as well as grammar and spelling Comfortable with technology and learning new systems Friendly, collaborative, upbeat "can-do" attitude Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance or related degree (i.e. a degree in Fiscal Management) Experience working with cloud-based accounting software Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Sound Advice Bookkeeping, we believe in investing in our employees' growth and development.
