We're looking for talented individuals who can help us achieve our vision by joining our team and contributing their expertise to drive innovation and growth. **About the Job** As an Experienced Full Stack Bookkeeper, you'll be at the forefront of cross-functional collaboration, working closely with accounting partners in the data and design spaces to create a unique blend of liabilities. Your days will be filled with assessing data using SQL and Python, conducting in-depth data analysis and research, designing complex reports and dashboards, and contributing to critical accounting research and planning initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** * Work cross-functionally with Technical Accounting, Financial Accounting, Design, Product, Finance, Audit, Legal, and other stakeholders on processes, cycles, and projects, and assist with driving key system drives and enhancements * Create and design comprehensive accounting data requirements to support the continuous automation of journal entries, ensuring accuracy, completeness, compliance, and efficiency in financial cycles * Lead functional process improvement initiatives to further streamline income tasks and shorten the income close schedule * Review data quality of journal entries prepared through the Income Subledger and design Data Quality checks for identified use cases through accounting requirements planning, special investigations, new product launches, etc. * Collaborate with the Product and Design teams to continuously improve our daily Income Reconciliation process and oversee reconciliation investigation with the help of the analysis team * Conduct monthly income accounting close responsibilities, including but not limited to: GAAP income analysis, cost of income analysis, debt claims compromises, review journal entries, and audit close package expectations * Conduct special investigations and projects as assigned **We're Excited About You Because:** * 3+ years of experience in income accounting, data analysis, and business intelligence * Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606 Income Recognition required; knowledge of IFRS an asset * Transitional/high-level SQL skills and ability to work with large volumes of conditional data, Python an asset * Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to changing work environments * Ability to collaborate with all levels of management and cross-functional teams, both internally and remotely **About Our Company Culture** At blithequark, we're committed to creating a workplace that's inclusive, diverse, and supportive.
